Pionero and La Linterna among the World’s Top Wines

Renowned wine critic James Suckling invited Bemberg Estate Wines to be part of a tasting session showcasing the 150 wineries to have received the highest score.

“Fabulous aromas of flowers, dark fruits and mushrooms with wet earth and sweet tobacco. Ever so subtle. Full body, with such finesse and refinement. Cedar and light sandalwood character highlight the subtle fruit. Caressing mouthfeel.“

After their release, both Pionero and La Linterna very much impressed one of the main experts in the international wine sphere. Mr. Suckling was so delighted by Bemberg Estate Wines’ new vintage that he decided to feature the winery and showcase its wines at the “Great Wines of the World” fair, an event that was later replicated across three cities in Asia: Seoul, Hong Kong and Beijing.

Surrounded by an atmosphere brimming with energy and enthusiasm, more than 5,000 top restaurateurs, hotel owners, sommeliers and private consumers enjoyed the wines and the flawless organization of the fair. The wines featured were the magnum versions of Pionero 2014 -98 points-and La Linterna Malbec Finca El Tomillo 2013 -96 points.
